May I ask the favour of your patronage & presence at little Percy's concert on Monday September 10th.

The concert by Percy Grainger, then 12 years old, in Melbourne's Masonic Hall, was very favourably reviewed; see, for example, Age (Melbourne), 11 September 1894, p. 7, Leader, 15 September 1894, p. 23.

I have not forgotten my promise of the photograph, & will send it very soon.

Filed with the letter is a photograph of Percy Grainger inscribed: 'To Baron von Mueller with love from Percy. 1894.'
