Letter not found. The text given here is from 'A correspondent lost', in the proceedings of the meeting of the Royal Society of Tasmania for 11 June 1894, Papers and proceedings of the Royal Society of Tasmania for 1894-95 (1896), p. ix.
[The Secretary read a letter from Baron von Müeller, stating that some gentleman in Launceston had asked him for his opinion regarding the reservation of several acres of public land for preservation in its pristine beauty. The answer was delayed, the Baron wishing to send a book with the reply. When the book was obtained, the letter containing the name and address of the correspondent could not be found. The Baron now forwarded the book to the Secretary of the Royal Society to hand to his correspondent if discovered.
