By some misunderstanding, dear Dr Bride, I received from my London-Bookseller two sets of Saccardo's Sylloge, excerpt vol. IV.

Saccardo (1882-1931); i.e. up to vol. 10, published in 1892, since vol. 11 did not appear until 1895 (TL2).

As it seemed a pity, to let so valuable a work go again out of the colony I presented the incomplete set. I see no other means of completing your set than by sending an order to Europe for the wanting volume.
