as in one instance having anthers concealed among female flowers. They might easily be missed in inspection. I think the only specimen was sacrificed in the dissection. His remarks in the Adansonia I can show you some day, when you come here. On specimens cultivated by me I saw no stamens, yet they produced embryonate seeds, which however did not germinate.
