Letter not found. The text given here is from 'Sprechabende über das Gesammtgebiet der Horticultur in Wien. Bericht über die Versammlung am 7. Mai 1894' [Discussion evening on the whole field of horticulture in Vienna: Report on the meeting on 7 May 1894], Wiener Illustrierte Garten-Zeitung , vol. 19, p. 229. It is dated to March as the latest likely date that the seeds could have been sent to be reported at the meeting in May.
