Memorandum,
Will the Government Botanist be good enough to inform me if there is in his Branch
of this Department any Non-Clerical officer who would accept or could be spared for
transfer to the position of Warder in the Hospitals for the Insane.
Wages £70 to £94 per annum. No charge will be made for rent of quarters but there
will be a deduction of £16 a year for rations when supplied.
The age limit will be waived in case of transfers, but applicants under twenty five
years of age should be well grown and of not too youthful an appearance.
This information is sought in accordance with a request made by the Secretary of the
Public Service Board.
