I have the honor to report that T. F. Patterson Esqr of the Ulonga-Station near Hay

NSW.
has on my solicitation caused to be collected on his run a large quantity of the seeds of the best pastural Salt-bushes, required in my establishment for seeds-interchanges. As Mr. Patterson must have incurred considerable expense in making this valuable donation, I would suggest, that on behalf of the Government a set of the work on "salsolaceous plants" be presented to this Gentleman, nine decades of that publication having appeared.

B89.13.04, B90.13.14, B91.13.24. The Chief Secretary, J. Patterson, minuted his approval of M's request on 5 February 1894, and the next day M returned the file with 'best thanks'. On 10 February the matter was referred to the Government Printer, R. Brain, who acknowledged it on 14 February.
