des schönen Bildes unseres venerablen u berühmten Freundes Agardh. Diese Sendung geht wohl aus der Jubiläum Feier des Algen-Nestors hervor, bei welcher Mr Wilson u ich selbst uns durch Prof. Toni betheiligten. Das Bild soll eine hervorragende Stelle in meinem Studirzimmer einnehmen u so mir stets vor Augen sein.

Die Geld-Verhältnisse in dieser Colonie sind seit den letzten 2 Jahren so bedrängt, dass ich die lithographischen Arbeiten habe hier ganz aufgeben müssen.

Accept my best thanks, highly esteemed Doctor, for the transmission of the beautiful portrait of our venerable and celebrated friend Agardh. I suppose this sending arises from the Jubilee celebration of the nestor of algae, in which even Mr Wilson

The financial situation in this colony has been so depressed for the last two years that I have had to give up the lithographic work here completely.
