My Dear Baron

Herewith I send you a fruiting specimen of the E microcorys which you will observe is not yet sufficiently matured for seed. I am watching it and I suppose I may safely gather the seed in about 3 weeks or a month from this? the specimen herewith is from a low branch of a fully matured tree 100 ft high and nearly 4 ft 6 inches in diameter 46 miles from here Although I day I cannot find any seed in a forward state near Kempsey or near the coast at present of course there may be plenty on the tops of the big trees?
