It is introduced by 'We have received the following communication: In reply to specimens submitted to him by the Rev. J. Bufton, F.L.S., F.R.H.S., Baron Von Mueller writes:'. The item is dated to January 1894 as the latest that it could have been written to be reported in this issue.
