The seeds included Polygonum sachaliense, which were 'committed to the care of Mr. M. Holtze, of the Botanic Gardens' (
Adelaide observer, 24 February 1894, p. 4). That Holtze received seeds from this batch is confirmed
in a report of the meeting of the Bureau held on 4 June, in South Australian register, 5 June 1894, p. 3.
