Let me thank you, dear Mr Williamson, for the beautiful photograms, prepared by yourself,
also for the liberal supply of
one of the plants, sent this (N. 2) must be from a Garden. It was very pleasing to
me, meeting your young brother.
But the Phylloxera troubles just now, and a severe pulmonary suffering made it not
possible for me to show him any outdoor attention. He is evidently an excellent young
thoughtful man.

Only one of Williamson's photographs has been found, now filed with H. Williamson
to M, 30 December 1893 and reproduced in this edition with that letter, but evidently sent earlier.

Williamson had two younger brothers, Arthur John, born 1873, and Sydney Wentworth,
born 1875. It is not known which of them visited M.
