Sir,
I beg to inform you that pursuant to my inquiry of the 4th instant, as to whether
Mr Renner's services could be spared from your branch that gentlemen called on me
on the 6th instant and as he appeared to be in a bad state of health I gave him leave
of absence until Monday next when he has been directed to report himself to you.
As temporary clerical assistance is required in this office I shall be glad if you
will then instruct Mr Renner (if his health permits) to report himself at this office
for duty immediately.
I have the honor to be,
Sir,
Your obedient servant,
Geo. Bell
