Letter not found. The text given here is from 'Local news', Omeo standard and minng gazette, 22 November 1893, p. [2] . On the assumption that the availability of the seed would have been announced as soon as possible after receipt by the Shire Secretary and arrangements made for distribution via the newspaper , the earliest likely date it was sent is the day before the previous issue was published . It was republished with acknowledgement in 'Omeo news', Ovens and Mu r ray advertiser , 25 November 1893 .
