Dear Baron,

I enclose a curious little composite I came across today. I have not endeavoured to work it up as I was anxious to forward it before it withered. The calyx appears to develope conspicuous petaloid segments on the fruitful flowers. I found it in quantity associated with, , , & but yet in a place where it may have been introduced.
