I should esteem it a very high honour to be associated with the Geographic Society
of Halle and further thank you for your offer to nominate me for membership. I shall
have great pleasure in presenting a copy of my "British New Guinea"
to Professor Kirchhoff
as well as any photographs that may be of use to that renowned scientist. Kindly instruct
me as to how I am to sent them. Shall I send them through you or direct to the Professor?
I appreciate most highly your remarks regarding my labours.
