Dear Baron
I have a single fragmentary specimen of what may prove a new but before publishing it as such would like to compare it with your R. cymiflora therefore would you kindly lend or give me a specimen for the purpose?

The specimens received by Bailey from M on 25 July 1893 may have been M 's response to this request ( see M to F. Bailey, July 1893 (in this edition as 93.07.00c)). No species named by Bailey is listed in Bailey (1913), p. 207.
I am the more anxious to work up these fragmentary materials that the supplementary volume to the Flora
