My dear Baron,
If you can write a letter to us, expressing what you think of the value of Miss Anna
F. Walkers Collection of Plants, &c &c as an aid to Botany &c &c. We Should be very
much pleased — as she is most anxious if She could dispose of them, if not now at
Some future time. I may mention that Miss Walker knows nothing of our intentions of
asking you to do this kindness for her.
As you know it is the result of Thirty years hard work, and I have been very much
pleased to hear you expressing to her, your great appreciation of her labours.
