May I mention to you, dear Dr Bride, that the first Decade of the "Iconography of
Candolleaceous plants"
has lately appeared at the Gov. Printing Office, so that you can obtain your 25 copies
by applying in the usual course.

On 3 March 1893, T. Bride minuted: 'Say the[y] will at once be applied for and thank'.
A reply was sent to M on 6 March; letter not found. On the same day the Library's
junior assistant, Patrick Quirk, was instructed to apply for 25 copies; he noted on
the file that 25 copies had been received on 21 October 1892, but this must refer
to another publication.
I intended for some time to call on you, but have been so overwhelmed with work in
the Department, that I found it impossible to pay any visits. Still, I keep you always
in friendly remembrance.
Regardfully your
Ferd von Mueller.
