I gave him all possible information and advise. But he came at a time of great financial depression, of which this colony has not recovered yet.

My Messenger has returned just, and ascertained, that Mr Vannod has a place in Burke & Wills Chambers, second floor, with his name at the bottom-door of this large building, these business-chambers being in Collins Street, at the corner of Russell Street in the principal part of the metropolis.

I will try to see the young Gentleman personally, but he seems all right.
