Perhaps you will smile, dear Dr Dyer, when a small parcel arrives by this weeks post,
containing in basket-work dried Bananas.
You may have had such sample already from Polynesia perhaps, but your Museum may
not yet possess the like from Queensland. At worst, no harm is done by this sending,
insignificant as it is, and you will at all events recognize my good will, to add
to the collections of Kew.

Collection at Kew, catalogue number 29746, entry book number 5.1893.
