Illness and heavy urgent work in the Department, dear Miss King, have prevented me from writing to you earlier in reply to your last communication, and even now I only send some hurried lines on two subjects
1, the Drosera, sent by Mr Bray,

Nothing is known of Bray except that, according to George (2009), p. 302, his initial was 'J'.
is D. pygmaea. This plant is not yet known from any locality north of Sydney.
2, I thank you for your friendliness, to put Mr Bray on the search for .
What a pity, that you cannot make a visit to Central Australia, where you could make many more discoveries than anywhere else in Australia.
