Die Sendungen Ihres Sohnes von der Nähe des öberen Swan River werden stets neue Anhaltspunkte für die Geographie der Pflanzen liefern, geehrter Herr Tepper, u möchte ich namentlich von dort auch alle Acacien in reifer Frucht haben.
Ich schicke jetzt gleich an Mr Edwards Samen von Nutzpflanzen ab, obwohl das Säen erst etwa um Ostern geschehen kann.
Sehr gern werde ich auch die Candidatur von Mr Bonython unterstützen bei der LS. Es genügt auf einen vollen Bogen zu schreiben.

I am just now sending off seeds of useful plants to Mr Edwards, although the sowing can only occur about Easter.

It has not been possible to identify which of the Bonythons present in SA at the time is the subject of this comment. No nomination for someone of that name has been found at the Linnean Society of London.
