so attentively procured, dear Miss Stirling, prove it to be B. prostrata (RBr). This remarkable variety was exhibited at the Field Naturalists Club last evening under your name.

The specimen, described as collected from Western Port by ‘Miss Annie Stirling’, was included among a number of items exhibited by M at the meeting on 14 November 1892 (Victorian naturalist, vol. 9 (1892-3), p. 115).
