MEMORANDUM.
A packet containing seeds, as per list annexed, has been received from the Chief Commissioner of the Forest Department, Burma, and will be forwarded to the Government Botanist.

M's reply dated 12 November 1892 has not been found, but it was registered with the precis, 'Bamboo seeds — that Burmese Govt be thanked for their present of seeds' (No. 2739, VPRS 1164 register of inwards correspondence, vol. 11, VA 672 Premier's Office, Public Record Office, Victoria). M's letter was acknowledged in E. Thomas to M, 28 November 1892 (in this edition as 92-11-28a).
