Should there be at your Office, dear Mr Wilson, still any copies of any volumes of Bentham's and my "Flora Australiensis", would you kindly let me have one of each? The set here through so many years use has become so worn out, that the pages in many places can hardly be any longer kept together.

The Chief Secretary, A. McLean, minuted his approval on 25 October. MS annotation in an unknown hand, dated 3 November: 'The work is out of print. Is the copy in this Office to be supplied to the Baron?' On 5 November Wilson instructed: 'Send the copy', and in T. Wilson to M, 10 November 1892, he told M that the Department's office set was being sent to him. M acknowledged receipt in M to T. Wilson, 12 November 1892.
Regardfully always
your
Ferd. von Mueller
