The report of the resolution of the Public Health section of the Congress is printed
below the extract from M's letter:
That the public health section is of opinion that the proposal made by Baron von Mueller,
F.R.S., gives expression to a need in relation to the prevention of cholera of the
most pressing kind, and wishes the Baron von Berg every success in any efforts he
may make towards that end in the direction indicated by Sir Ferdinand von Mueller;
but they are unwillingly compelled to see that the matter is one of international
concern in which it is unsuitable for them to formally interfere.
