My Dear Baron
I am sending you by this post specimens of a Casuarina which is uncommon in this district.
The two species known as She Oak and Bulloak are very common and so is Casuarina distyla
which is the prevailing scrub in the Little Desert.
The species or variety of which I am sending specimens is dwarf and rarely exceeds 8 or 9 feet in height. I could not get any in flower but you may be able to identify
it from the fruit

P. S. seeds of two species of Kochia can be obtained after the new year. I will have
a look out for them then.
