Dear Baron,
I enclose a small sprig of a Rhamnacous sent me from the main land near Schouten Island.

Off east coast, Tas.
Unfortunately there were no flowers nor fruit & I send it in the hope that is foliage may be sufficiently characteristic to enable you to name it. I have failed to identify it amongst our native dogwoods.
With regard to the orchid I have referred to as intermediate between P.

Pterostylis here and below.
concinna & P. praecox. I founded my opinion not only on the difference of the leaves & elongated & contracted labellum but also on the upper lobe of the column wing. In P. concinna this is comparatively long & in P. praecox short & in the varieties of P. concinna with an elongated & contracted labellum the upper lobe of the column is exactly that of P. praecox
Yours faithfully
L Rodway.
P. S. I have had in the past many varieties of P. nana but unfortunately did not make records of them at the time but hope to do so when it comes into flower again.
