[ The Town Clerk has received for use in the Botanical Gardens fortytwo varieties of flower seeds from Baron von Mueller, of the Phytologic Museum, Melbourne. The gift was not the less acceptable because quite unexpected. ]

It is also inferred that he sent some to W. Allitt for his nursery at Tyrendarra; see M to W. Allitt, August 1892 (in this edition as 92-08-00l).
