Sir
,— May I ask through your columns, an answer to a question I have just been asked
by Baron Fred. von Müeller, K.C.M.G., as it is a matter of considerable general interest:
"Do any of the native shrubs form really good hedges?"
Yours, &c,
BERNARD H. WOODWARD,
Curator.

Woodward’s letter contains a postscript listing new WA species described by M in B92.08.02,
and ends with 'Baron Von Mueller will be very grateful for any dried plants from the Upper Murchison
and Gascoyne districts. These may be posted direct or sent to the Museum, when I will
forward them. B.H.W.'
