Identified as No. 172 in the margin , seemingly in MacDonald's hand. This number is the record number used in AVH (accessed 31 January 2025).
(leaf of the common Corkwood) which appears to grow only along the Coast here on the Sandy flats, the fruit is a blue berry single seeded, round, and the size of an ordinary cherry. I have not yet observed the flower I am not sure but I think this tree is the Duboisia? the timber is good and the [stem] about 40 ft & a diameter of 12 inches and handsome
