Sehr geehrter Herr Baron!

Mit abgehender Post schicke ich Ihnen eine Pflanze zur gütigen Benennung zu. Ich glaubte anfangs dieselbe sei , allein es ist jetzt noch nicht die Blütezeit für selbige und sodann erscheint die Pflanze immer in dem Zustande wie das zugeschickten Exemplar sich befindet. Soweit wie ich sie bis jetzt beobachtet habe, finde ich, dass der Befruchtungszustand der Blumen immer in der Erde stattfindet, und dass nach demselben die Samenkapsel aus dem Erdboden hervorkrümmt und meistens dann derselben Stengel in der Normalform eine horizontale Position annimmt. Die robusten Exemplare habe ich under gesammelt. Ich habe die Pflanze schon Anfang Mai d.J. gefunden, jetzt ist sie am häufigsten.

Geococcus pussilus kann ich nicht zum keimen kriegen. Der Samen muss mehr wie 8 Jahre alt sein. Vielleicht finde ich die Pflanze im September bei L. Albacutya.

Highly esteemed Baron,

With the departing mail I am sending you a plant for your kind identification. At first I believed it to be , however, this is not the flowering time for them, and in addition the plant is always found in the same state as the specimen sent. As far as I have observed to date, I find that the fructification of the flower always occurs in the soil, and that afterwards the seed capsule curves out of the soil, and usually the stem of the normal form then takes on a horizontal position. The robust specimens I have collected under .

i.e. Xerotes effusa.

I have found the plant already early in May of this year; now it is most frequent.

I cannot get Geococcus pussilus

i.e. Geococcus pusillus.

to germinate. The seed must be more than 8 years old. Perhaps I will find the plant near Lake Albacutya
