In forwarding you answer's to your question's re Palm, growing at the north West Portion
of W. Australia
I sincerely hope they will be satisfactory. I have to thank G. Phillips esq Commissioner
of Police and the Acting Govt Resident Roebourne for the trouble they have taken in
so doing.

See M to W. Dale, 21 March 1892 (in this edition as 92-03-21a). Dale had forwarded M's questions to WA's Police Commissioner, G. Phillips, who
sent them to J. Beresford, Police Sergeant at Roebourne, WA. On 13 May 1892, and Beresford
in turn passed them on to Henry Keep, the Acting Government Resident at Roebourne,
whom he knew was about to pay a visit to Millstream. Dale was now forwarding Keep's
reply (H. Keep to M, 10 June 1892). The file includes a summary by Keep, dated 10 June 1892.
