MS is an annotation on a large file concerning the transfer of Gerhard Renner from M's staff to the Mines Department and his subsequent return a year later. It comes immediately after an annotation by Wilson dated 28 March 1892 directing M ‘to instruct Mr Renner to report himself to the Secretary Mines Department with as little delay as possible’. See also M to G. Bell, 24 June 1893 (in this edition as 93-06-24b).
In accordance with the given instructions Mr Renner reported himself to the Secretary of the Mines Department yesterday, and commences work there this day.
