I must thank you specially, dear Mr Wilson, for this new concession,
as it doubtless was brought about much through your influential counsels. My hope
is still, that young French will be continued in my establishment altogether
in which indeed
he was born

in another Department. M reiterated his request for the permanent retention of French in M to A. McLean,
