Sehr verehrter Herr Baron,

Ich möchte doch nicht verfehlen, Ihnen für Ihre freundlichen Sendungen von Algen material meinen besten Dank zu sagen. Die Algen von Port Fairy waren sehr interessant, und lieferten einige seltenere Arten, von denen ich natürlich dem Universitäts Herbar mitgetheilt habe. Die letzte Zusendung habe ich noch nicht präparirt — der Fundort erregt mir aber angenehme Erwartungen.

No record of transmission of a collection from Port Fairy, Vic, has been found.

and provided some rare species, which of course I have given to the University herbarium. I have not yet prepared the last consignment - but the locality produces pleasant expectations in me.
