dear Mr Holtze, needs further observations. It may be identical with B. Blancoi (Bentham) from Siam and Luzon. It has much narrower petals, cuneate (not truncate) at the base, than B. Hookeri. The latter, so far as I am aware, is a robust tree, while you say, that 1336, is scandent. Possibly the flowers may be to some extent monoecious, so that a difference between the male may exist with imperfect ovulary and the female fruiting flowers. All this can best be observed in nature.
