The sample is listed as entry 1898 in the stock book of the Technological Museum (Archives,
Powerhouse Museum, Sydney). It is also listed for 9 October 1891 in MRS 89, Day book,
1890-1910, Powerhouse Museum, Sydney. Maiden (1890) and Maiden (1892) include the results of his chemical
analyses, which were directed at finding patterns of kino types useful for classification
of the eucalypts. See Lucas (2017).
