Letter not found. The text given here is from 'Rickets in cattle', Daily news (Perth, WA), 8 October 1891, p. 3. The text is a comment on a letter to the editor from J. S. Maley, concerning rickets in cattle. Maley attributed the disease to the cattle eating a grass, samples of which he sent with his letter, suggesting 'You might get this grass analysed by Baron von Mueller, or some one else, and let the public know the result through your papers. There are very few people who will believe that it will poison.'
[We shall carry out Mr. Maley's suggestion as to forwarding some of the grass to Baron von Mueller, and will give his opinion thereupon through the medium of our columns. — Ed.]
