With reference to previous correspondence in which the Government of Burma (Forest Department) promised to supply a parcel of Bamboo seeds in return for

I beg to forward, per carrier, a box which has just come to hand from Burma containing certain varieties of the seeds in question.
In advising the Premier of the transmission of the seeds, the Chief Commissioner forwards a list (enclosed herewith) specifying the varieties contained in the box and giving their systematic and Burmese names, together with a note of instructions (also herewith) for the sowing of two of the varieties
