Dear Baron von Mueller,
The commissions conveyed by your interesting communication of the 13th. inst,
have been attended to. I was about to communicate with the Brisbane Branch of the
Australian Natives Association, as desired, but, that before actually entering into
action I saw its Secretary who stated that you had already done so. Being assured
by him that steps would be taken to deal with the subject officially I considered
that a communication from me was unnecessary. I trust the appeal will meet with hearty
support.

Funding was being sought for the proposed Swedish-Australian exploring expedition
to Antarctica.
Should you, however, desire me to aid the cause in any way a command will meet with
my most hearty response.
With kind greetings
I am,
dear Baron von Mueller,
Very faithfully yours
