South Australia,
June 5, 1891.
The Baron von Mueller, K.C.M.G.,
My dear Baron,
I received your letter of 2nd instant
and am quite prepared to do what Baron Dickson has done in subscribing £5,000 to
the Antarctic Expedition, but I have placed the matter so far in the hands of the
South Australian Geographical Society, and will hand your letter to them in confirmation
of my statement.
