The Euc. leptophleba, dear Mr Gill, came only into culture this year though I discovered,
named and described the tree in 1856 already.
It has the qualities of
the best
Ironbark trees, particularly resembling in wood E. crebra. It is best adapted for
dry warm inland-regions here. I shall be glad to learn, at what rate this Euc. grows
with you. Only this year I could send seeds out for the first time, you can have more
