in due course and feel thankful for your very excellent explanations of the question
previously submitted to W Botting Hemsley. I will comply with your request and have
your letter printed for distribution.

Three green fruits two leaves attached to stems, also several fallen dry fruits and,
I hope, you may find the Gallflowers that are so important — the tree that I refer
to is growing in one of the oldest formed gardens near Adelaide: quite overgrown by
various trees, and there are many fig trees in this garden, all vary in fruit and
leaves, therefore I conclude they have all been raised from seeds of Smyrna figs I
will forward dried leaves of Capri figs separate post
