The cost of erection of this building has been estimated by the Public Works Department to be £180 which is precisely the amount on the votes of the Public Works Department for repairs to the Botanic Museum during 1890-91.
An account for the sum of £33.0.6 has already been charged to the vote referred to, consequently the balance will not be sufficient to meet the contemplated expenditure.
