Memo.
Will the Government Botanist be good enough to inform me whether the brick building
(one room) requisitioned for by him on the 17th November last
is indispensably necessary.

The cost of erection of this building has been estimated by the Public Works Department
to be £180 which is precisely the amount on the votes of the Public Works Department
for repairs to the Botanic Museum during 1890-91.
An account for the sum of £33.0.6 has already been charged to the vote referred to,
consequently the balance will not be sufficient to meet the contemplated expenditure.
