is A. stenophylla of Cunningham. The Casuarinas of the series, to which C. glauca is the type need reexamination with critical care from the larger material, accumulated since the publication of the 6th vol. of the Flora.

Miquel (1856), p. 98 quotes M as the author of the name. M does not list the species in either B83.03.04 or B89.05.03, or in his treatment of Casuarinaceae in B67.07.05, pp. 16-20. Bentham (1863-78), vol. 6, p. 197 treats it as a synonym of the earlier C. suberosa. The name appears on labels of specimens collected by M, for example MEL 545812 (undated).
