The enclosed composite plant has been the subject of much controversy just lately. It has appeared in great quantities on some of our northern Rivers, some gentlemen asserting that it is a new introduction from America. I have my opinion on the matter, but I submit it to you for your kind attention. I shall be extremely obliged if you will name it for me.
yours very faithfully
Fred Turner.
