Dear Baron
Herewith all the flowering sprigs of I could obtain on Mt. Wellington yesterday The corolla is in every instance white. Many of the flowers bore no stamens & then the carpels were tolerably numerous usually about 10.
In those flowers that bore stamens the carpels present were usually from 2 to 4 & in nearly every instance abortive.
Yours Faithfully
L Rodway
P.S. Nearly all the specimens I send are stameniferous, but three or four are female only.
