Having with your acquiescence had an interview with the hon. the Minister of Lands
in reference to settling a rural population also on the Australian Alps, and having
been requested by the hon. Gentleman to convey my views in writing, so that they might
officially be followed up, I beg now to submit a brief document on this subject, so
that, should the honorable the Chief Secretary approve of it, the byefollowing letter
may be transmitted to the Department for Lands and Agriculture.
